Ordering online is quick and easy on the Rayleigh Hi-Fi website. When you place an order, our system immediately starts processing to ensure fast delivery. You can pay securely via:

All prices listed include VAT at 20%. Please note, we do not participate in VAT-free shopping for mail order sales.

Shipping & Delivery Details:

Free Mainland UK Delivery
Enjoy free delivery on orders over £250 to mainland UK. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a PDF invoice and tracking details.

Delivery Partners
We partner with DPD Local for most deliveries, providing next-working-day delivery. You’ll receive updates via text if you enter a mobile number at checkout. For real-time tracking, download the DPD app, which allows you to track your delivery and even rearrange it if needed.

TV Orders
If you’re purchasing a TV, it will be delivered by specialist couriers who handle larger items. They will contact you after your order to schedule a convenient delivery slot.

Note: If your order requires multiple shipments, we will notify you of each delivery separately.

Returns & Refunds Policy:

Headphones
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns on in-ear headphones once the packaging has been opened. However, you are welcome to visit either of our stores to inspect the headphones in person and speak with one of our experts.

Returns Process
Your statutory rights remain unaffected. If you receive an item that is faulty or not as described, please contact us immediately for a full refund or exchange.

International Orders:

Currently, Rayleigh Hi-Fi only delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom and reserves the right to refuse any order at any time for any reason.

30-Day Return Guarantee

At Rayleigh Hi-Fi, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy, you can return any product bought through our website within 30 days of receiving it. Once you contact us, we’ll provide a return authorisation, and you’ll have an additional 14 days to send the product back. After we receive the item safely, we’ll issue a full refund for the original purchase price.

For peace of mind, we recommend using a tracked return service to ensure the item arrives safely and can be tracked during transit. Rayleigh Hi-Fi is not responsible for any lost items sent by customers.

Return Conditions:

  • Products must be undamaged and show no signs of wear.
  • Items should be returned in their original condition, including packaging, manuals, and accessories. If you no longer have the original packaging, we may charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item’s original price.
  • Any free items received as part of a promotional deal must be returned with the main product. If not returned, we may deduct the cost of the free item from your refund.

Please Note:

  • Special order products are not eligible for the 30-day return policy. Contact us before placing your order if you’re unsure whether your product is a special order.
  • For hygiene reasons, in-ear headphones can only be returned if they are faulty.

To initiate a return, email us at sales@rayleighhifi.com. Refunds are typically processed within 7 working days once the item is returned and inspected.

Faulty or Damaged Products:

If your product is damaged during transit or is faulty, please let us know within 30 days of receiving it by emailing sales@rayleighhifi.com. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, and cover the cost of return shipping. If you’ve shipped the product internationally, you’ll need to cover the return shipping.

If your product develops a fault during the warranty period, we’ll help arrange a repair or replacement, either by collecting it from a UK address or directing you to a local service center. Please note, if a product is returned as faulty but found to be in working order, we’ll return it to you at your expense.

Products damaged due to misuse, incorrect operation, or general wear and tear are not covered by the warranty.

Please retain the original packaging for any returns or warranty claims. If you no longer have it, the item must be packed securely to prevent damage.

Terms of Sale:

  1. Contract Formation: When you place an order with Rayleigh Hi-Fi, you’re offering to purchase the selected items. A contract is formed when we send you an order acknowledgment and deliver the goods.
  2. Price and Availability: We aim to keep all product details accurate, but occasionally errors can occur. If we discover a mistake with your order, we will notify you and either offer a refund or an alternative product.
  3. Cancellation: You can cancel your order according to your rights under consumer law. If you cancel, you must return the goods, and we will refund you within 30 days.
  4. Warranty: All new products come with a warranty, but this does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized repairs. For repairs under warranty, contact us for assistance.
  5. Returns: For faulty goods or if they’re damaged during delivery, please contact us within 30 days, and we will offer a refund, replacement, or repair, depending on the situation.
  6. Limitation of Liability: Rayleigh Hi-Fi is not liable for any loss or damage that is not caused by our breach of contract. We’re also not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses.
